Our Weekly Emotions Tracker is a simple, powerful visual tool designed to help children understand, express and reflect on their emotions across the week.
Using colour and universally recognised emotion faces, this tactile tracker turns feelings into something children can see, touch and talk about, making emotional awareness clearer and communication easier.
It was developed in conjunction with children and parents to create a practical, real world tool that supports emotional regulation, emotional literacy and healthy communication.
How it works
Each day of the week from Monday to Sunday has its own slot.
At the end of the day, the child chooses the disc that best matches how they felt and places it into the correct day.
The four emotions are:
- Blue - Sad, tired, bored
- Green - Calm, happy, focused
- Yellow - Worried, silly, exhausted
- Red - Mad, out of control, angry
This creates a visual emotional timeline for the week, helping children recognise patterns, talk about their feelings and build emotional awareness in a safe, supportive way.

This tracker is especially helpful for children who struggle to express how they feel, including those with autism, ADHD, anxiety or communication difficulties.
